Samir Nasri joins Fernando and Stevan Jovetic on the sidelines after picking up a groin injury, but David Silva and Sergio Aguero have both been declared fit. Pablo Zabaleta also returns after missing the league cup game against Sheffield Wednesday through suspension.

Manuel Pellegrini was pleased with the midweek 7-0 victory, which ended a sequence of four games without a win.

"It is always important to win in the way we did on Wednesday and I hope this can continue in the future – especially tomorrow against Hull because in the Premier League, we cannot drop many points.

"Hull is a difficult team to play away. Last year, it was not one of our best games because Vincent Kompany was sent off in the first ten minutes but we played really well and we won.

"I hope this year we can do it in the same way but I am sure we will find it tough at their home because they always play very strongly – especially in aerial duals."

City's last away league game at Hull ended in a 2-0 victory, with David Silva and Edin Dzeko scoring for the Blues. Overall City have won 12 of the 25 games played against Hull, with 7 draws and 6 defeats.
