The 5 Blues Absolutely Dominating Fantasy Football

Manchester City are at their usual dominant self under Pep again this season. Top of the league, qualified for the knockout stage in the Champions League which they are 6/4 favourites to win with bookie Betfred.

Even though Liverpool are just a few points ahead of City, the Blues look unstoppable and are at the very top of the 2018/19 Premier League betting promotions and free bets as it’s the only way you can get any value out of the club!

With City favourites for almost every competition they’re in, they rarely provide us with any hefty payouts, unless you are betting on over 3.5 goals or a handicap which are often good value bets, with the markets available at most bookmakers like Ladbrokes and William Hill.

City are of course a joy to watch. But it isn’t just Pep the players are doing plenty for, they’re boosting our own managerial profiles too. When it comes to fantasy football anyway.

That’s certainly the case with this season’s Premier League and there are plenty of City players flying the flag.

We take a look at the best fantasy football players at the Etihad so far...

Ederson

Only Alisson has more fantasy points than Ederson this season with the City stopper enjoying eight clean sheets out of 14 fixtures.

The fact Pep Guardiola tinkered so much with his goalkeepers before getting his man is perhaps testament to how important the position is.

In terms of fantasy football he’s up there ahead of the likes of Kepa at Chelsea and Jordan Pickford who has made plenty of saves at Goodison Park.

He’s almost guaranteed to earn you points and a must have in your fantasy team.

Aymeric Laporte

Laporte has worked his way into being a key figure for Manchester City this season and is pretty much undroppable for Pep at the moment.

He’s picked up 66 points so far (In official Premier League Fantasy Football), and regularly picks up six points a game.

Only a handful of Liverpool players sit above the Frenchman as well as Marcos Alonso who has a habit of popping up with assists.

If you want a City defender in your side, Aymeric is certainly the man, with Kyle Walker only slightly behind him of 60 points.

Raheem Sterling

Raheem is in scintillating form once again for the Blues and really thrives in this Manchester City team.

He’s the league’s second top scorer so far this season and is the first player to notch up over 100 fantasy points this season, arguably becoming one of the world’s best forward players in the process.

His best game came against Southampton where he picked up 21 points, bagging twice and getting two assists.

David Silva

David Silva is another player who is earning points by the bucketload and is perhaps the best option for your team ahead of Bernardo Silva and Leroy Sane.

The trio are rotated regularly with Sane currently seven points ahead of Silva, with Bernardo Silva three behind his namesake on 64 points.

Any of the four Manchester City attacking midfielders are obviously worth investing in. You’ll find Bernardo Silva the cheapest if you’re trying to squeeze someone into your budget at £7.5million, while you’ll also grab value with David Silva, a snip at £8.7million.

Sergio Aguero

Sergio is the first name on the team sheet for most Fantasy Football managers alongside Harry Kane. The Argentinian is currently leading the way though, nine points clear of the Tottenham man despite playing 300 minutes fewer.

Aubameyang currently lies top of the tree, but the consistency of Aguero will likely see him finish at the top with another league title in his hands too.
