Fulham youngster joins for undisclosed fee

City have confirmed the signing of Patrick Roberts from Fulham for an undisclosed fee, believed to be in the region of £5m plus add-ons.

The young midfielder is a precocious talent, and is highly regarded within the game, having featured regularly for England at youth level.

He made his professional debut for Fulham against City in March 2014, and went on to make 19 appearances for the Cottagers.

He becomes City's third English signing of the summer, following Raheem Sterling and Fabian Delph to The Etihad Stadium.
