Yaya Toure and Wilfried Bony are absent again due to the Ivory Coast's ongoing participation in the African Cup of Nations. Manager Manuel Pellegrini confirmed, however, that they are the only two absentees as the squad have been given a rare clean bill of health.
“We have no injuries, we have a full squad for tomorrow”, said Pellegrini at today's press conferece.
“Mangala and Nasri are fine and will be in the squad.
“Samir is a very important player for our team but we have also won games without him.
“Samir will be important for the team but we cannot just think that because he can play we will win.”
City's last home game against Hull ended in a 2-0 win, with Alvaro Negredo and Yaya Toure scoring for City. Overall City have won 13 of the 26 games played against Hull, with 7 draws and 6 defeats.
