July 2011: Carlos Tevez hands in transfer request, stating that he is unable to settle in Manchester. October 2011: Carlos Tevez would welcome a move to another Premier League club, according to his advisor Kia Joorabchian, who said: "His family are now living in England, so he's quite happy and settled."
Tottenham's Rafael van der Vaart, arguably the most egotistical player in the Premier League, believes the wheels could come off City's title bid because of too many "egos" within the squad, according to The Guardian. It's irony on a base level, but I like it.
The Daily Star report that City defender Kolo Toure is set to be fined £600,000 for his failed drugs test after attending a two-hour disciplinary hearing at the club yesterday. Gordon Taylor has inevitably complained.
Finally, the Daily Mail claim that City striker Mario Balotelli has turned the garden of his Cheshire mansion into a racetrack for his quad bike. Which, by his standards, is disappointingly tame.
