City's decision to fine Carlos Tevez four weeks' wages after finding him guilty of misconduct dominated many of the morning's headlines. The player has also been warned as to his future conduct following an investigation into his behaviour on the bench during last month's Champions League defeat at Bayern Munich.
The club, in a statement posted on their website, have found the Argentinian guilty of five breaches of contract. Tevez has 14 days to decide whether to appeal to the City board of directors.
Tevez, meanwhile, is set to sue Roberto Mancini for defamation of character, according to The Daily Telegraph and The Guardian, amongst others. Tevez feels his reputation and career have been damaged by Mancini’s allegations, and is adamant that his only offence was a refusal to warm up again.
The Sun report that City defender Kolo Toure says he would leave Eastlands to join French giants Paris Saint-Germain. This "exclusive" comes just 24 hours after other papers reported the same story.
The Metro claim that Juventus are weighing up a move for Manchester City full-back Aleksandar Kolarov, with City considering Barcelona's Maxwell as a replacement.
