Etihad capacity to potentially rise to 61,000
City have announced exciting plans to expand the capacity of the Etihad Stadium, potentially adding new third tiers to both the North and South stands. Each level will have approximately 6,750 new seats, will season tickets available from just £299 (the cheapest in the Premier League).
The plans, which are subject to planning approval, could see the stadium capacity rise to 61,000, which would make it the second largest club stadium in England.
The Club’s two proposed options are to undertake the expansion of the South stand alone (phase 1), to increase match day capacity to around 54,000, or to expand both the South and North Stands at the same time (phases 1 and 2), to increase match day capacity to circa 61,000.
