City confirm that fans will be refunded for remaining games

Six remaining league fixtures will be refunded pro-rata with credit option

City have contacted supporters to inform them that refunds will be issued for all remaining games of the 2019/20 season.

The Blues had six remaining league fixtures due to be played at the Etihad, and season ticket holders will be refunded on a pro-rata basis.

Fans also have the option of taking the refund as a credit towards their season ticket for the 2020/21 season.

An email sent to fans on Wednesday afternoon read:

"Following the Government’s announcement that any return to professional sport will take place behind closed doors and begin no earlier than 1st June, we wanted to provide an update with regards to General Admission Seasoncards and match tickets.

"Given the announcement and as we had previously communicated, Seasoncard holders will now be offered a refund equating to the value of the remaining six home Premier League matches. Supporters who had purchased individual match tickets for fixtures including home and away Premier League, or any other Cup fixture, home or away, will also receive a full refund."
