Manchester City vs Chelsea: Three points a must for Blues in race for top four

David Seaman and Faye were joined by Everton goalkeeper Asmir Begovic on his Betway sponsored Seaman Says podcast and amongst other things, looked at the mighty clash between Manchester City and the resurgent – sadly – Chelsea.
With Chelsea one place ahead of us, albeit they have only one win in five matches, it is crucial we don’t let ourselves down this weekend.
Begovic said: “It should be a good game.”
Which is the kiss of death, it’ll be a dull 0-0 now!
“It should be an attacking game, positive game, both teams going for it. I think Chelsea have shown this year they're not really intimidated by anyone, even though they've got a really young squad. The manager always plays on the front foot. Man City with a bit more form again, new additions to the squad, so I think it's going to be exciting game.”
He also points to us traditionally better in the second half of the season:
“We talk about injuries, and you can't minimise that, but I think when you look at it now, Man City are traditionally always better in the second half of the season for many different reasons. Having Haaland there, KDB back, Foden's feeling good about himself again and causing problems. I think what it does puts a little bit less pressure on the other players, and now Doku is a better player.
“I think everything filters down the whole squad. Ruben Dias coming back, Ederson back, it kind of puts everyone in their right spots once again and everything seems to be a little bit more in a better position.”
If we focus on ourselves, there should only be one winner, we need to go at the same pace we did in the thrashing of Ipswich.
