Manu Garcia joins Alaves on loan

Spanish midfielder heads to La Liga in season long deal

Manu Garcia has joined La Liga side Alaves on a season long loan, the club have confirmed. The 18 year old joined City from Sporting Gijon in 2013, and made his debut as a second half substitute in City's 4-1 Capital One Cup victory at Sunderland in September 2015.

He scored his first senior goal in the following round against Crystal Palace, but has made just one appearance in the Premier League as a substitute against Aston Villa in March 2016.

It is thought that the player will start initially with Alaves B, before being integrated into their first team.
