Blues start campaign at home to Sunderland
The fixtures for the 2016/17 Premier League season have been announced, with City due to face Sam Allardyce's Sunderland at home on the opening day. Pep Guardiola's first away game as City manager will take place on 20th August against Stoke City.
The much anticipated first derby of the season, which will see Guardiola and his old adversary Jose Mourinho lock horns again, is at Old Trafford on 10th September. The return fixture is scheduled for 25th February, but, as always, is likely to be rearranged for television purposes.
Other notables fixtures include Liverpool away on New Year's Eve, and a trip to reigning champions Leicester on 10th December.
