Raheem Sterling is the Bluemoon Player of the Month for December

England international pips De Bruyne to award

Raheem Sterling has been voted as the Bluemoon Player of the Month for December 2015. The England international won 36% of the vote after an impressive display against Borussia Monchengladbach in the Champions League saw the Blues qualify as group winners for the first time. Sterling scored twice against the German side, and added a further goal in the 4-1 home victory against Sunderland.

Overall it was a disappointing month for City, as league defeats away at Stoke and Arsenal saw their title challenge falter.

Kevin De Bruyne came second with 30% of the vote, after also netting three times, including a brace against Hull City in the quarter final of the Capital One Cup.

Joe Hart finished third following a series of good performances, despite just one clean sheet, with 10% of the vote.
