City to face Everton in semi-final

First leg to be played at Goodison Park

City will face Everton over two legs in the semi-final of the Capital One Cup following the draw on Wednesday night. The Blues comfortably beat Hull City 4-1 in the previous round, whilst Everton won 2-0 at Middlesbrough.

The first leg will be played on either the 5th or 6th January, with the return match at The Etihad to be played on 26th/27th January.

Earlier in the season City won 2-0 at Goodison Park, thanks to goals from Aleksandar Kolarov and Samir Nasri.

Liverpool and Stoke will contest the other semi-final.
