Brazilian midfielder's consistent performances cap fine month for Blues
Fernandinho has been voted as the Bluemoon Player of the Month for October. The Brazilian midfielder won 52% of the vote after an impressive month, which saw the Blues record victories over Newcastle, Bournemouth, Sevilla, Crystal Palace and Norwich City, as well as drawing the Manchester derby.
The ex-Shakhtar Donetsk man has been in remarkably consistent form this season, netting three times in sixteen performances and forming part of a formidable midfield with Yaya Toure and, more recently, compatriot Fernando.
Nicolas Otamendi came second with 20% of the vote, and capped a fine month by scoring his first ever City goal in the home victory over Norwich. Kevin De Bruyne, who won the award for September, finished third with 17% after netting three goals, against Newcastle, Sevilla and Palace.
