Belgian playmaker makes impressive start to City career

Kevin De Bruyne has been voted as the Bluemoon Player of the Month for September 2015. The Belgian midfielder received 46% of the vote, ahead of Fernandinho with 36%. Joe Hart and Bacary Sagna were joint third with 7% each.

De Bruyne made his City debut as a first-half substitute in the 1-0 win at Selhurst Park, and then scored on his full home debut against West Ham United a week later. Further goals followed away at Sunderland and Tottenham, in what has been an impressive start to his City career.

The midfielder's good form has continued into October, with De Bruyne scoring once again in the 6-1 rout of Newcastle United and providing two assists for Sergio Aguero.
