City face Sunderland in Capital One Cup third-round

Sides meet in re-run of 2014 final

City have been handed an away tie at Sunderland in last night's draw for the third round of the Capital One Cup.

The two sides met in the final of the competition in 2014, when goals from Yaya Toure, Samir Nasri and Jesus Navas secured the first silverware of Manuel Pellegrini's regime.

Ties will be played in the week beginning 21s September.
