Samir Nasri has been ruled out for the rest of the season following a muscular injury picked up in the victory at Spurs. However, Yaya Toure, Stevan Jovetic and Vincent Kompany are all available again as manager Manuel Pellegrini has a virtually fully fit squad to select from.

City have taken nine points from their last three games, but the Chilean boss has warned against complacency creeping in as the Blues aim to finish the season strongly.

“It is important to finish well,” he stated. “We have won three games in a row and we have three games more. It is important for our team to win the other games.

“It does not depend on our team if we are going to finish second or not because if Arsenal win all of their games, they will be second - but it is important to finish as near to the top of the table as we can.”

City's last home game against QPR ended in a comfortable 3-1 victory, with Yaya Toure, Edzin Dzeko and Carlos Tevezo n the scoresheet for the Blues. Overall City have won 22 of the 51 games played against QPR, with 17 draws and 12 defeats.
