Sergio Aguero voted Bluemoon Player of the Month for February

Goals against Stoke and Newcastle seal award for striker

Sergio Aguero has been voted as the Bluemoon Player of the Month for February, polling 51% of the vote. David Silva came second (26%), followed by Edin Dzeko (6%).

It was a mixed month for the Blues, with a disappointing home draw with Hull followed by emphatic wins against Stoke and Newcastle, before defeat to Barcelona left City's Champions league hopes in the balance.

Aguero's return to form, which saw him net three goals in four games, will, however, give manager Manuel Pellegrini hope for the rest of the season. Aguero struck twice at the Britannia Stadium, and scored the opener in the 5-0 win against Newcastle United.
