Vincent Kompany is available after missing the midweek victory against A.S. Roma that saw City clinch qualification for the knock out stages of the Champions League for the second successive season. David Silva, a second half substitute at Stadio Olimpico, had no adverse reaction to his knee injury and is pushing for his first start since October.

Pellegrini said: "He played already 30 minutes and he didn’t feel any pain in his knee so I think he could be fit to play in the starting 11."

The manager added that he was expecting a difficult game tomorrow, despite Leicester's recent struggles.

"Leicester are a good team with good players and I think tomorrow we will have a tough game. We must think that if we want to win we must play in the same way as we have been doing."

City's last away game at the Kings Power Stadium ended in a 3-1 win in the quarter finals of last season's Capital One Cup, with Aleksandar Kolarov and Edin Dzeko (2) getting the goals. Overall City have won 42 of the 91 games played against Leicester, with 23 draws and 26 defeats.
