City given home tie against Sheffield Wednesday

Blues meet Championship side for second time this season

City have been handed a home tie against Championship side Sheffield Wednesday in the draw for the third round proper of the F.A. Cup. The game will be played at The Etihad Stadium on the weekend commencing 3rd January, with the actual date yet to be confirmed.

The two sides also met in the third round of the League Cup in September, with the Blues trouncing Wednesday 7-0 at home.
