David Silva, Edin Dzeko and Aleksandar Kolarov miss out once again through injury, although Fernandinho and Yaya Toure are both available after being suspended from the Champions League victory over Bayern Munich.

Manuel Pellegrini praised striker Sergio Aguero following his midweek hatrick, but insists that City aren't a one man team.

"We hope he continues the same way", said Pellegrini.

"[But] this team never depends on just one striker. This team last year, not all the players, but an important amount of them scored goals.

"Midfielders and strikers. We will try to continue the same way.

"In the last Premier League game, Sergio didn’t score and we won with a goal from (Stevan) Jovetic and one from Yaya Toure. So we have a squad and that squad must be able to try to win."

City's last away game at St Marys ended in a 1-1 draw, with Sergio Aguero giving City the lead before a superb equaliser from Dani Osvaldo. Overall City have won 26 of the 80 games played against Swansea, with 24 draws and 30 defeats.
