Aguero wins Player of the Month Award

Argentinian striker nets six times in October

Sergio Aguero has been voted the Bluemoon Player of the Month for October, after scoring six goals in five appearances. The Argentine scored all the goals in City's 4-1 home victory over Spurs, as well as netting against Aston Villa and CSKA Moscow.

Aguero received a landslide 57% of the vote, ahead of James Milner (20%) and David Silva (9%).

His good form has continued into November, with the striker scoring the winner in the Manchester derby and grabbing a brace against QPR at the weekend to salvage a point for the Blues.

Despite being continually linked with a move away from The Etihad, Aguero has reiterated his desire to stay in Manchester for the remainder of his contract.

"I am so happy here," he says. "I find life so calm, very different to when I played in Spain. The only things I miss from home are my son, my family and my friends."
