Sagna signing confirmed

Defender joins on three year deal

City have confirmed the signing of French international Bacary Sagna on a three year contract.

The 31 year old defender will join the Blues after his Arsenal contract expires, following the World Cup. He will take the vacant squad number 3, and provide valuable back-up to Pablo Zabaleta next season.

Sagna is City's first signing of the summer, and it is understood the player will earn around £60,000 net per week. He made 213 appearances for Arsenal since joining from Auxerre in 2007.
