City have a duty to win remaining games - PellegriniBoss vows to continue fighting for league

Manuel Pellegrini has vowed to continue fighting for the Premier League title, and has said the Blues have a "duty" to win their remaining games.

A comfortable 3-1 victory against West Bromwich Albion has left City six points behind leaders Liverpool, but with a game in hand.

“It’s exactly the same as last week,” he said.

“The moment we lost the game against Liverpool we [could not] depend just on what we do until the end of the season but we have a duty to win our games.”

“I think the first half we played very well, we scored three times and had very clear chances to score,” he added.

“I think that the first half was the team we saw the whole season at the Etihad.

“Maybe the goal they scored made us a bit more nervous because in the second half we didn’t play so well with the ball but we keep the score and that’s important.”
