City to face Barcelona in Champions League

Blues given tough draw in second round

City have been paired with Barcelona in the Champions League draw this morning in Nyon. The tie sees CEO Ferran Soriano and Director of Football Txiki Begiristain return to their old club. Begiristain told Sky Sports: "We are happy because we're here [last 16] and we'll fight for the trophy. It's a draw that could be better, but in the end it's a truly wonderful draw."

The first leg will take place on February 18-19 or February 25-26 at the Etihad Stadium with the second leg in the Nou Camp on March 11-12 or March 18-19.
