Nasri gives green light to new deal

Midfielder expected to extend contract until 2017

Samir Nasri has indicated he is ready to sign a new contract extension, easing City’s fears he would be the latest member of the squad happy to run down his time at the Etihad.

The Frenchman has finally shown his true worth this season and City have been quick to acknowledge his elevated standing in our starting eleven.

It emerged over the weekend that City want him to sign for an additional two years on top of his present deal which is due to expire in the summer of 2015.
