City are currently paying half towards his £35,000 a week wages and the Baggies have a first option agreement to make it a permanent £5m sale.

Sinclair, however, has been in and out of the line-up and also suffered a serious hamstring tear in the victory over United several weeks ago.

And we have been told West Brom are now going cold on a summer transaction and City will be forced to take him back.

Sinclair is a decent pro and because of his relatively ‘low’ wages, City should have no problem finding another buyer.
