Bosnian praises new manager after brace against Milan
City striker Edin Dzeko is enjoying life under new manager Manuel Pellegrini, and is already repaying the faith the Chilean has shown in him.
Dzeko told City's official website: "I feel different, better. I just feel that I have more confidence and that the manager gives me more confidence and that is an important thing."
The Bosnian said that Pellegrini's praise for him had given him a boost, adding: "I feel different because someone who is important has trust in you and that is good."
Dzeko scored a brace in last night's 5-3 victory over A.C. Milan, taking his pre-season tally to four goals in the last three goals. City face Bayern Munich this evening at the Allianz Arena in the final of the Audi Cup.
