Opposition view: Everton

Ahead of tomorrow's game at The Etihad, Bluemoon caught up with our very own resident Everton fan shackattack to get the lowdown on the opposition...

What are your expectations for this season?

To finish in top half of table, and a possible Europa League place.

Are you happy with the manager?

Moyes is the best we can hope for, but he splits opinion. He only has a plan A, and is poor tactically. Once we go a goal up he seems unwilling to motivate the team to push on and kill the game off. He lacks confidence in the younger players (such as Barkley) and reluctant to bring them off the bench for plodders like Neville and Gibson.

Who are your key players?

Baines and Pienaar link up well on the left flank. Fellaini plays when he feels like it. Mirallas has skill in abundance but Moyes may knock that out of him before long!

Were you happy with the business conducted during the transfer window?

Mirallas was a good addition, but injuries to a weak squad will show it's toll mid season. Bill needs to find some loose change down the back of his sofa and bring someone in the January window.

Are there any rising stars in the squad that we might not have heard of?

Barkley is the obvious one, the rest (such as Vellios, Oviedo ) are not up to premiership standard. Matthew Kennedy is on the fringe of the first team, but Moyes is a very cautious man and rarely plays youngsters.

Your Achilles heel?

Howard, Neville, Distin, Jagielka!!!

If you could have any City player in your team who would you choose?

Aguero.

What is your perception of City as a club?

Loyal fanbase who have stuck by them with humour and loyalty, bordering on madness (much more appealing than your Essex neighbours!). Before the Lescott saga I think we had a lot in common, but Moyes and his bitter rantings changed it to a degree.

Likely starting XI for the game, and score prediction?

Howard, Neville, Hibbert, Distin, Heitinga, Jagielka, Pienaar, Gibson, Osman, Naismith, Jelavic (depends on Baines' fitness)

Score - 2-0 to City
