Rodri and Ruben Dias are available for the visit of Spurs after recovering from a knock and illness respectively. Sergio Aguero could also be involved also recovering from Covid-19, but Fernandinho misses out with a hamstring injury.

“Rodri trained quite good today and I think he will be available tomorrow,” said Guardiola at his pre-match press conference.

“Ruben came back to training today and Sergio made his second training session with us.”

“Except Fernandinho, Nathan and Kevin, I think the rest of the first team squad are available," he added.

City's 2-0 defeat at White Hart Lane in November was the Blues' last league defeat, and Guardiola is anticipating another tough game tomorrow.

“We did really well,” he said when asked what has changed since that defeat to Spurs.

“We lost because they were better in many aspects than us in that game.

“You see the quality of the players they have and the manager, it’s a strong team. We have to do better tomorrow to beat them.”

City drew their last home league game against Spurs 2-2, with goals from Raheem Sterling and Sergio Aguero. Overall City have won 63 of the 162 games played against Tottenham, with 36 draws and 63 defeats.
