City will once again be without Sergio Aguero, Nathan Ake and Kevin De Bruyne for the visit of Sheffield United. Aguero is yet to resume training after testing positive for Covid-19, and has missed City's last six games.

“Sergio is not here yet,” said Pep Guardiola at his pre-match press conference.

“When he tests negative, he will come back. We still don't have the results back.”

“[Ake is] not yet available. We have the same guys like we had in the last games.”

City won their last home game against Sheffield United 2-0, with goals from Sergio Aguero and Kevin De Bruyne. Overall City have won 52 of the 124 games played against the Blades, with 34 draws and 38 defeats.
