Sergio Aguero is a doubt for the trip to the South Coast after missing training earlier this week. Eric Garcia and Oleksandr Zinchenko remain absent through injury.
“I don’t know,” said Guardiola when asked if Aguero would be available.
“After the game he could not train. Yesterday no training, today he trained really well, but I don't know how many minutes he can play.
“It’s important he makes training sessions but after the game he could not. It wasn’t the knee, it was another area.”
City lost their last game at St Mary's 1-0, with Che Adams scoring the only goal of the game. Overall City have won 36 of the 93 games played against the Saints, with 25 draws and 32 defeats.
Predicted line-up: Ederson, Walker, Stones, Dias, Cancelo, Rodri, Gundogan, De Bruyne, Mahrez, Sterling, Jesus
