Riyad Mahrez and Aymeric Laporte test positive for Covid-19

Both players to self-isolate for 10 days, but should be avilable for season opener at Molineux
Riyad Mahrez and Aymeric Laporte have tested positive for Covid-19, the club have confirmed.
Both players will now have to self-isolate for ten days, in line with government and Premier League rules, but should be available for selection for City's opening game at Molineux on September 21st.
A statement on the club website read:
"Manchester City FC can confirm that Riyad Mahrez and Aymeric Laporte have tested positive for Covid-19.
Both players are currently observing a period of self-isolation in accordance with Premier League and UK Government protocol on quarantine. Neither is displaying symptoms of the virus.
Everyone at the Club wishes Riyad and Aymeric a speedy recovery ahead of their return to training and the new season."
