City to face Arsenal in FA Cup semi-final

Guardiola and Arteta to meet for second since Project Restart

City will face Arsenal in the semi-final of the FA Cup, following the draw on Sunday evening.

The Blues qualified courtesy of a 2-0 victory against Newcastle United, with goals from Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling. Arsenal, meanwhile, saw off Sheffield United with a late winner from Dani Ceballos.

The tie will see Pep Guardiola face his former assistant Mikel Arteta for the second time since football resumed in England, after City defeated the Gunners 3-0 at the Etihad a fortnight ago.

Chelsea will face Manchester United in the other semi-final, with the ties due to be played on the weekend of 18/19th July.
