Aymeric Laporte and Leroy Sane have both stepped up their recovery from injury, although neither will be involved against Crystal Palace. Manager Pep Guardiola reported in Friday's press conference that he has no other injury worries:

“Leroy is still not training with us but everything is going really well.

“Aymeric made another week with us training.

“Everyone else is more or less fit, yeah.”

Guardiola gave the squad two days off during the week, and hopes his players will be revitalised for the visit of Roy Hodgson's Palace side:

“We had one or two days off then we train and prepare for the game,” he said. “How to defend, how to attack them.”

City lost the last game against the Eagles at The Etihad, with Ilkay Gundogan and Kevin De Bruyne netting in a 3-2 defeat. Overall City have won 33 of the 62 games played against Palace, with 13 draws and 16 defeats.
