City to face United in Carabao Cup semi-final

Blues drawn against arch rivals in repeat of 2010 clash

Holders Manchester City will face rivals Manchester United in semi-finals of the Carabao Cup, following the draw on Wednesday evening. The first leg will be played at Old Trafford, with the return at The Etihad three weeks later.

The Blues have won the trophy four times in the past six years, and secured their place in the last four with a 3-1 win at Oxford United. United defeated Colchester 3-0 at Old Trafford to progress.

Leicester City will take on Aston Villa in the other semi-final, with the ties to be played over two legs in the weeks commencing 6 and 27 January.
