City to face Southampton in Carabao Cup Fourth Round

Game to be played at The Etihad week commencing October 28

The Blues will face Southampton in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup, following the draw on Wednesday evening. The tie will be played at The Etihad in the week commencing 28th October, with the two teams also scheduled to meet in the Premier League at the same venue the following weekend.

Holders City qualified courtesy of a routine 3-0 victory against Preston in Round Three, whilst Saints emphatically beat rivals Portsmouth 4-0 at Fratton Park.

Pep Guardiola's side will be looking to continue their extraordinary run in the competition, where they have not lost for nearly three years.
