Kevin De Bruyne could be available again after recovering from a hamstring injury, but Fernandinho and Benjamin Mendy will miss the visit to Brighton. Pep Guardiola confirmed that the Belgian midfielder has trained for the last two days, and could come into contention. A victory at the Amex Stadium would clinch back to back titles for the Blues, but Guardiola insisted that he wasn't nervous ahead of the game.

“I didn’t expect this when we were seven points behind this Liverpool, so it’s a dream.

“Of course, now is not the moment to say how good we’ve done we have the chance to be champions.

“Okay if it happens it will be nice but nothing is going to change.

“The fact we’ve done incredibly well all season means in last two games we have two titles, two finals.

“It’ll be tough. If the game is going bad we will be calm, we have to have a plan and follow a plan like we have done all season.”

City's last league game against the Seagulls ended in a 2-0 victory, with Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling netting for the Blues. Overall City have won 12 of the 21 games played against Brighton, with 5 draws and 4 defeats.
