Pep Guardiola will assess the fitness of his squad in today's training session before selecting a side to face Spurs for the second time in four days. Oleksandr Zinchenko is expected to be available again after recovering from a hamstring injury.

“In tomorrow’s line-up, we will see,” Guardiola said. “We saw each other yesterday and spoke with each other, congratulating each other for the game on Wednesday.

“On Friday, we will train in the afternoon. We will see how the people recover. We have to be careful mentally and physically.

“We will make the decision tonight. Tomorrow morning, we play early so we will see in terms of selection.”

City's beat Spurs 4-3 on Wednesday evening, with Raheem Sterling (2), Bernardo Silva and Sergio Aguero netting for the Blues in a pulsating Champions League tie, only to be eliminated on away goals. Overall City have won 62 of the 158 games played against Tottenham, with 35 draws and 61 defeats.
