Nicolas Otamendi and Fernandinho are suspended for the second leg of the last 16 tie with Schalke 04, but John Stones and Aymeric Laporte could be available for selection again after recovering from injury.
City lead 3-2 from the first leg in Germany, but managed Pep Gaurdiola warned his players against any complacency in Monday's press conference.
“I prefer this score than the one at Anfield when we were 3-0 down!” he said.
“It’s 90 minutes hard work ahead and we still we have a job to do. We must make incredible efforts in epic salutations to go through.
“In the first leg, we had Nico sent off, one goal in first few minutes… anything can happen in this competition. These kinds of situations take a lot of influence to control.
