Spaniard becomes the first ever City manager to win the award
Pep Guardiola was named as the League Managers Association manager of the year at a ceremony in London on Tuesday evening.
The City boss beat off competition from Jurgen Klopp, Sean Syche, Nuno Espirito, Neil Warnock and John Coleman and becomes the first ever City manager to win the award.
Guardiola led the Blues to the Premier League title in his second season in England, smashing a number of previously held records along the way.
His side won the title with a record 100 points, scoring 106 goals and dropping just 14 points all season.
