Blues' boss wins award for record fourth consecutive time

Pep Guardiola has been named as the Premier League Manager of the Month for December 2017, with Harry Kane winning the player award.

It is the fourth consecutive month in which Guardiola has scooped the award, and sets a new record, eclipsing the three awards in a row won by Chelsea boss Antonio Conte in 2016.

City won six and drew one of their seven league fixtures in a congested December schedule, extending their lead at the top of the Premier League to 15 points. The Blues remain unbeaten in all domestic competitions this season.
