Vincent Kompany is closing in on a return to action, but has been left out of the squad for the clash with West Bromwich Albion. Pep Guardiola's side were forced to play 120 minutes against Wolves in midweek, and Guardiola has admitted that fatigue could be an issue this weekend.
“We were so tired,” he explained.
“We had a few problems with some kicks and it was demanding for us, but we’ve made a recovery and the players had the day off yesterday.
“Now they are coming back and we will see how they are.”
City's last game against the Baggies at The Hawthorns ended in a 2-1 win, with Leroy Sane scoring a brace for the Blues earlier this season in the Carabao Cup. Overall City have won 69 of the 152 games played against West Brom, with 29 draws and 54 defeats.
Predicted line-up: Ederson, Walker, Stones, Otamendi, Delph, Fernandinho, D Silva, De Bruyne, Sterling, Sane, Jesus
