Guardiola named as Premier League Manager of the Month

Blues won all seven fixtures in September

Pep Guardiola has been named as the Premier League Manager of the Month for September 2017.

The Blues won all four league games during the month, scoring a remarkable 17 goals and keeping four clean sheets in the process.

A 5-0 victory against Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool side was followed by a 6-0 win against Watford. Guardiola's side then put five past Crystal Palace at The Etihad without reply, before ending the month with a hugely impressive 1-0 victory at champions Chelsea.

City also won their three other games in September, defeating Feyenoord and Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League and West Bromwich Albion in the Carabou Cup, making a perfect seven victories from seven games.
