Benjamin Mendy could make his City debut, after being included in the squad which has travelled to the south coast for the clash with Bournemouth. Mendy joined City this summer in a £49m deal from AS Monaco, but has been sidelined with a thigh injury. Kyle Walker is suspended following his red card against Everton, and Ilkay Gundogan continues his recovery by playing for the EDS side against Leicester City on Friday night.

“Mendy is travelling with us,” Guardiola said.

“I don’t know if he will play, but he is travelling with us because Kyle cannot play.

“I think Danilo is going to play there [at right-back].”

City's last away game at Dean Court ended in a 2-0 victory, with goals from Raheem Sterling and an own goal. Overall City have won 8 of the 10 games played against the Cherries, with 2 draws and no defeats.
