City will be the slight favourites as this tis their first friendly fixture of the summer while United have a very busy schedule ahead, facing Real Salt Lake 3 days before and Real Madrid 2 days after. Pep Guardiola, meanwhile, will have time to rest his players before they also face Real Madrid 6 days later. This will be Guardiola’s first chance to show off his new singings. New keeper from Benfica Enderson will likely be in goals, whilst Kyle Walker from Spurs could be right back for City with Bernardo Silva on the right wing. Victor Lindelöf, Manchester United’s new signing had an impressive season for Benfic, and could be a key player for the reds this season. Romelu Lukaku will hope to shine after a poor debut against LA Galaxy.
