The Blues will be without six first team regulars for the trip to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace. Nathan Ake joins Phil Foden, John Stones, and Mateo Kovacic on the injured list, whilst Oscar Bobb and Rodri remain long-term absentees.

Manuel Akanji, however, could yet feature, despite being substitued at half-time during the midweek victory against Nottingham Forest. The Swiss defender will be assessed before the game

“We don’t have many players so we’ll see,” he said at Friday's press conference.

“[It took] a long time to come back. With a game every three days, we’ll see how he reacts to this amount of games.”

City won their last game at Selhurst Park 4-2, with goals from Kevin De Bruyne (2), Rico Lewis and Erling Haaland. Overall City have won 38 of the 71 games played against the Eagles, with 16 draws and 17 defeats.
