Erling Haaland should be available for the visit of Liverpool, despite suffering a knock during the international break with Norway.
"He trained yesterday with some niggles," he said at Friday's press conference.
"Today we are in the last training, hopefully he can play a part."
"We have a few problems like many clubs," the boss stated.
"We will see in our training session today. At 18:00 (UK) I will know for sure who is available."
The two sides are separated by a single point at the top of the table, and Guardiola was complimentary about tomorrow's visitors.
"We know each other quite well. Of course, the time goes forward Jurgen has been eight years at Liverpool and of course it’s not the same players since the start. He has rebuilt the team.
"Trent Alexander-Arnold can play inside and outside. But the idea is quite similar and always been our best rivals some seasons done well with injuries they have. Top club and team. Looking forward to it."
City won their last game against Liverpool at the Etihad 4-1, with gaols from Julian ALvarez, Kevin De Bruyne, Ilkay Gundogan and Jack Grealish. Overall City have won 52 of the 195 games played against the Reds, with 50 draws and 93 defeats.
