City to face Burnley on opening weekend of 23/24 season

Blues travel to Turf Moor to face Vincent Kompany's newly promoted side
City will begin the defence of their Premier League trophy away at Burnley on the opening weekend of the 2023/24 season.
The Blues will travel to Turf Moor to face Vincent Kompany's newly promoted side on Friday 11th August, with the game to be screened live on Sky Sports.
The first home game will be played against Newcastle United on August 19th, followed by an away game against Sheffield United.
The first Manchester derby of the season is scheduled for Saturday 28th October, with the return fixture at the The Etihad to be played on 2nd March 2024.
