City to face Chelsea in FA Cup third round

Another difficult tie awaits the Blues at the Etihad

City will face Chelsea in the FA Cup third round, following the draw on Monday evening.

The tie will be played at the Etihad Stadium between 6-9th January 2023, and is almost certain to be one of the games selected for television coverage.

The two sides have already faced each other in the Carabao Cup this season, with the Blues running out 2-0 winners, and are also scheduled to meet at Stamford Bridge in the league on Thursday 5th January.
